Isn't this the same as LegalZoom and others?
Compass is programmed for individual courthouses and litigation, rather than simply copy/pasting into a form. It allows you to purchase just 30 minutes of attorney assistance at-a-time, without having to hire a lawyer. Since King @ Law is a law firm, and not just a software company, the lawyer has access to everything in Compass.
How much does it cost?
You can use Compass for free during a 30-day trial. Then, pay just $120 per-month, less than 10% the typical cost of an attorney. You can purchase 30 minutes of attorney help via Zoom for just $200 at-a-time.
Shouldn't I just hire a lawyer?
It depends on what you can afford, how much money is in dispute, whether you trust lawyers, and how confident you feel with a self-service approach.
Can my ex and I both use an app together to collaborate on settlement?
Yes. However, if both parties are using Compass, Mr. King will not provide a consultation to either party to avoid a conflict of interest issue. The North Carolina Bar Association prohibits lawyers from providing legal advice to both spouses.
